Summary 

Today Georgian economy is experiencing a crisis, especially in industry. Inactivity in some industries and a low level of production efficiency determine unfavorable social-economical situation in the country.

Tendencies and factors of development of the industry have been thoroughly studied in the World and Georgian economic literature, however, at each new stage of development, as in all kinds of activities in various fields, many questions require a new way of analysis on the basis of new scientific and empirical knowledge.

The industrial development of Georgia and the country's self-assertion in the world economic space requires a correct definition of socio-economic tasks and their solution at the microeconomic level. Therefore, scientific research is needed to improve the mechanisms of strategic management (manage) and objective justification in the need for their application
